It sounds like Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow would still like to put some summer work in with guys like A.J. Green and Tee Higgins before training camp.
In fact, Green and Burrow are still trying to make this happen even though the NFLPA advises against it.
But it should be noted big-name quarterbacks like Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson have all defied the recommendation from the NFLPA and have put on workouts with teammates before training camps despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith isn’t happy with Brady and others who have decided to take things into their own hands before camps:

For now, Burrow might just keep on hosting his small throwing sessions with friends in Athens, Ohio.
At this point, with training camp scheduled to start on time and certain players eligible to arrive at team facilities before even that, Burrow won’t have to wait much longer to link up with his new pro teammates.
