Bradley Bozeman protects Bryce Young during scuffle at Panthers training camp

Protecting the quarterback at all times is at the forefront of Bradley Bozeman’s mind.

The job of an offensive lineman is to protect the quarterback at all times. Former Alabama OL Bradley Bozeman did just that at Carolina Panthers training camp when a scuffle broke out on the field.

Bozeman apparently grabbed the team’s rookie quarterback and first-overall selection from the 2023 NFL draft, Bryce Young, to protect him from the mayhem.

Nikki Bozeman, Bradley’s wife, shared the brief story to X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I wish there was an angle where you can see (Bradley) turn around and immediately grab Bryce like don’t even think about it. I saw it from the stands and was like ‘yeah you protect your QB'”

Though the two players’ careers at Alabama never overlapped, the Crimson Tide connection is there.

Roll Tide wire will continue to follow Bozeman, Young and other former Alabama players now in the NFL as the 2023 season approaches.
