Bradley Beal’s agent doesn’t see guard going to Brooklyn

It doesn’t look like Bradley Beal will be a third star option for the Brooklyn Nets.

It didn’t take long for someone to try to shut down the Bradley Beal to Brooklyn movement.

Although the Nets have reportedly had internal discussions about finding a way to acquire the Wizards guard, there’s still the matter of Washington’s feelings about Beal and vice versa.

Despite the struggles the Wizards have had lately, Beal signed a two-year extension at the start of 2019-20 — so neither is looking to part ways. And Mark Bartlestein, Beal’s agent, made clear both sides still feel similarly when speaking with Adam Zagoria of Forbes:

There are no Beal Sweepstakes and that’s why he re-signed with the Wizards.

Bartlestein added:

Brad re-signed with the Wizards because he wanted to stay in Washington and the Wizards wanted to keep him there.
