Bowl Season: USA TODAY Sports picks Alamo Bowl, Big 12 bowl winners

The college football staff at USA TODAY Sports laid out their predictions for bowl season. They mostly agree with Texas over Colorado.

Just one more day until the Texas Longhorns and Colorado Buffaloes renew their conference rivalry on the football field, even if it is just for one game. Texas has been the favorite as far as the betting outlets have been concerned.

The expert picks have been released, a majority being that the Texas Longhorns should win this game. Texas is looking for their fourth-straight bowl victory under Tom Herman. The Longhorns have owned the series with Colorado as of late, they are looking for their sixth consecutive win overall and they lead the series 11-7 in their 18 meetings.

The staff at USA TODAY Sports laid out their predictions for the bowl games recently. The Alamo Bowl with Texas and the Texas Bowl with Texas Christian seemed to be the only Big 12 bowl game they seem to favor the Big 12 teams.
