West Virginia vs Minnesota

QB Tanner Morgan, Minnesota: The guy has seen just about everything in his four years, and he’s returning for 2022. Very efficient but very inconsistent this season, he isn’t bombing away in the running offense, but as long as he’s not throwing picks – he gave up eight on the year – everything is fine.

OT Daniel Faalele, Minnesota: The biggest blocker on the biggest offensive line in college football, the 6-9, generously-low listed 380-pounder earned First Team All-Big Ten honors as the main man for the pounding veteran front five. He might be massive, but he can move.

DT Dante Stills, West Virginia: An all-star and main man for the Mountaineer defensive line over the last few years, the 6-4, 280-pound veteran lives behind the line. There’s no problem holding up against the run, but he stands out as a quick interior pass rusher with six sacks with 13 tackles for loss.

RB Leddie Brown, West Virginia: The running game needs its veteran back to rumble. The Mountaineers are 5-0 when Brown runs for over 100 yards, and the hope is for the 1,065-yard, 13-touchdown senior to be the workhorse. He’s a capable receiver, too, he’s a good outlet with 36 grabs with a score.
