NC State vs UCLA

He’s not going to run much, but he’ll spread the ball around and keep pushing, connecting on 66% of his throws for 3,433 yards and 35 touchdowns and five picks.

OT Ikem Ekwonu, NC State: A certain first round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the 6-4, 320-pound tackle – he could play guard at the next level – was the best blocker in the ACC this season. Powerful, quick, and with ideal NFL size, he doesn’t need to show anything else to the scouts, but he’s about to.

QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, UCLA: He was one of the first key parts to the Chip Kelly era, and now he finally gets a bowl payoff. He’s not all that big, and he’s not all that flashy, but he’s a tough, smart leader who threw for over 2,400 yards and 21 touchdowns and ran for over 600 yards with nine scores.

RB Zach Charbonnet, UCLA: The Bruins wanted to run the ball for the last few years, and the Michigan transfer helped make it finally happen this season from the start with three 100-yard games in the first four. He closed his 1,137-yard, 13-touchdown season with two more 100-yard performances in wins over USC and Cal.
