UCF vs Florida
RB Dameon Pierce, Florida: It’s been a rough year for the program, but the 5-10, 215-pound back was a bright spot as the designated scorer. The offense might get the most rushing production out of the quarterbacks, but Pierce – the team’s second-leading rusher with 517 yards -came up with 15 touchdowns with five multi-score days.
DT Zachary Carter, Florida: A veteran team leader who’s been through the SEC wars, Carter led the team with eight sacks and 11 tackles for loss as a versatile part of the line rotation. At 6-4 and around 285 pounds, he’s able to work inside or out as a quick interior pass rusher.
QB Mikey Keene, UCF: It’s a big moment for the freshman. Former starter Dillon Gabriel is transferring, and the program might be in the mix for any one of the high-profile quarterbacks in the transfer portal. Keene has been fine, but inconsistent. He’s not big, and he’s not a runner, but he was able to help get the team through a tough season.
DE Big Kat Bryant, UCF: After a few disappointing seasons, he was exactly what the program was hoping for when he followed head coach Gus Malzahn over from Auburn. The 6-5, 245-pound fifth-year senior pass rusher made 50 tackles with six sacks and 14 tackles for loss in his All-AAC campaign.
