The USC Trojans’ two basketball programs are on the rise. The men’s team will have plenty of eyeballs with Bronny James and Isaiah Collier in town, as well as the return of Boogie Ellis.
The women’s team also has a ton of talent after making the NCAA Tournament. The Women of Troy lost to South Dakota State in the first round, but they laid a foundation for the future under Lindsay Gottlieb.
The Trojans men’s team is set to kick off the upcoming season in Las Vegas against Kansas State in what could be a top-25 matchup with a pair of NCAA Tournament teams.
The women’s team will also be playing that same day in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena against Ohio State. The Buckeyes knocked Connecticut and Geno Auriemma out of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, marking the first time since 2007 that the Huskies did not reach the Final Four. Ohio State reached the Elite Eight. That’s a big-time program and a big-time game. USC will face a stiff challenge.
Jeff Goodman of Stadium revealed the entire series for the Hall of Fame games. The Colorado Buffaloes face the LSU Tigers in women’s hoops on November 6 in Las Vegas, so it is a talented lineup to begin the season.
After a strong season in both men’s and women’s hoops, the Trojans have plenty of expectations for the 2023-2024 campaign in the realm of roundball.
