Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown has dealt with hamstring issues on multiple occasions throughout his six years in the NBA thus far. Brown confirmed that he wanted to come back a few games ago, but the Celtics’ medical staff suggested taking it slow to get to the root of the problem and try to avoid future injury.
Brown agreed that it would be the “smarter” approach. He said he is moving forward in the right direction and is not experiencing any of the grabbing feelings in his hamstring he had previously. Brown will be available for Monday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to head coach Ime Udoka.
“I feel like I’m ready to go,” Brown said. “Obviously, we’ll see when we get out there. I expect it to be a high-intensity game against Milwaukee. So, I’m thinking that they’ll probably put some type of restriction, but to be honest, I’m ready to play. I feel great.”
Jaylen Brown will be available on Monday vs. the Bucks per Ime Udoka.
