The Boston Celtics kicked off a seven-game homestand on Sunday night at TD Garden with a resounding, 113-103 defensive-based victory against the Atlanta Hawks. The team’s ball movement and shot selection were excellent, resulting in the Celtics finding multiple ways to score on a night they had trouble with their shot from beyond the arc.
Boston demonstrated a strong defensive presence, making it challenging for the Hawks to execute their plays. Blocks, steals, and notably tight coverage contributed to the Celtics’ overall defensive success against Atlanta at the Garden Sunday. The energy from the fans also fueled the team’s play, creating an electric atmosphere in the arena.
As Boston continues their homestand, they will try to build on this success and maintain their momentum as they close out the year at the Garden.
