The Memphis Grizzlies (19-20) host the Boston Celtics (21-21) Monday at FedExForum for a 9 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we analyze the Celtics-Grizzlies odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Boston snapped a three-game losing skid Sunday by beating the Orlando Magic 112-96 at home; the Celtics made 23 of 54 3-point attempts in the win. The C’s are just 2-4 straight up and against the spread since the All-Star break with two of those losses coming against teams probably heading toward tank mode in the Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Memphis split a two-game miniseries with the Golden State Warriors, winning the latest installment 111-103 as a 6.5-point home favorite. The Grizzlies have won two of their last three games.
Boston trampled Memphis 126-107 in the first meeting of the season as a 7-point home favorite. Grizzlies PG Ja Morant missed the game due to a sprained ankle.

Celtics at Grizzlies: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Grizzlies 115, Celtics 111
Money line (ML)
Slight LEAN toward GRIZZLIES (-135) because it’s on the fringe of a playable money line and I don’t hate just taking Memphis to cover as a 2-point favorite and win by at least 3 points instead.

Against the spread (ATS)
LEAN GRIZZLIES -2 (-110) because again either the spread or money line works here.
Boston has the second-lowest cover rate as the road team at 7-15 ATS, is 3-9 ATS as a road favorite and Memphis is 13-10 ATS at home. Also, the Celtics played Sunday and are just 3-7 ATS in games where they have a rest disadvantage.
The Grizzlies are a tough team to match up against if you’re playing on tired legs. Memphis has a highly aggressive style and is always crashing the offensive glass.
Memphis scores the third-most second-chance points per game and Boston is 25th in second-chance points allowed per game.
Finally, according to Pregame.com, the sharp side of the market (the money column) is backing the Grizzlies and the average joes are taking the Celtics. Obviously, we know which side is usually more profitable.
Again, GRIZZLIES -2 (-110) is the right side here.
Over/Under (O/U)
Both teams figure to have success on offense because they each attempt a high volume of mid-range shots and neither team plays good defense vs. mid-range attempts.
Boston attempts the eighth-highest rate of mid-range shots and Memphis has the fourth-worst defensive mid-range field-goal percentage, according to CleaningTheGlass.com.
While the Celtics are 26th in defensive mid-range shooting percentage and Memphis takes the third-highest rate of mid-range shots.
LEAN toward OVER 219.5 (-110) for a quarter-unit.
