Your average NBA power ranking is a metric that is perhaps one of the most subjective ways of assessing the quality of a team’s play each week of the regular season among a wide variety of rubrics that may not in fact be so accurate — until it looks at your favorite club favorably, anyway.
And for fans of the Boston Celtics, that day may well be today given that the latest CBS Sports NBA power rankings have placed Boston at the top of the heap for this week after the Celtics dispatched the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, and Charlotte Hornets convincingly behind a pair of historic performances from star forward Jayson Tatum.
