Borussia Dortmund will return to the U.S. for the first time in four years this summer, having made their most recent visits in 2018 and 2019.
The Bundesliga side currently has matches scheduled against Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea, with more set to be confirmed.
Dortmund has featured two high-profile Americans in recent years. Christian Pulisic played during the 2018 tour, while Gio Reyna featured in 2019 and will most likely do so again this summer.
“If you take a look at the big clubs that are spending part of their pre-season preparations in the USA this summer and also playing high-profile friendlies, then it is only logical that we at Borussia Dortmund should not ignore this trend,” said sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
“We look forward to returning to North America, where the market is becoming increasingly important in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup and the enthusiasm for football is growing,” managing director Carsten Cramer added.
