The Seahawks are getting some extra practice this week after playing last Thursday night against the Rams. While there won’t be an official injury report out until Wednesday, coach Pete Carroll did offer some updates in his press conference with the media on Monday.
As for the elephant in the room, Carroll says “we’ll see” about potentially putting Russell Wilson on the injured reserve list. Wilson isn’t the only key player who got hurt against Los Angeles, though. Carroll also revealed that linebacker Bobby Wagner is dealing with a bruised knee from that game, but doesn’t think it’s that serious.

While Carroll probably wouldn’t let on if it was, our money is on Wagner playing. He has only missed two games since the 2015 season.
Carroll also commented on starting running back Chris Carson, who is considered day to day with a long-term neck issue.
Good news on this front. Carroll says Carson’s neck took a “big turn” in a positive way over the weekend. He’s not sure if Carson can play this week against the Steelers, though.
Carroll said Chris Carson's neck injury took "a big turn" coming out of the weekend. No word yet on his status for this week, but that's a good sign.

With Carson on the sidelines Seattle didn’t have much of a run game against the Rams. Alex Collins managed only 47 yards on 15 carries and Geno Smith was by far their most efficient rusher, averaging 7.7 yards on three attempts.
