Bo Nix offered up an incredibly blunt (and kind of hilarious?) explanation for his awful endzone interception

Thanks for the explanation, Bo.

All rookie quarterbacks have growing pains. It’s part of the game — even for the ones who are supposedly the best. Even Caleb Williams is struggling to acclimate to the NFL game so far.

But there simply hasn’t been much positive momentum to the start of Bo Nix’s career with the Broncos.

The quarterback has struggled mightily for Denver so far, throwing four interceptions total in his two games played. There was one giveaway against the Steelers on Sunday that proved to be extremely costly. Denver drove up the field down 10-0 with an opportunity to score and cut the lead to three.

Then — whaddaya know — a Nix interception nixed the drive.

Nix was asked to describe what happened on the play after the game, and, well, he gave the most blunt explanation he possibly could about it.

“Uh, yeah. Um, dropped back, threw it to the other team,” Nix said in the most matter-of-fact way possible.

I know he’s not trying to be funny here, but, folks. This is hilarious. He pretty much described every interception in NFL history with his answer here. Yet, it’s also an extremely accurate answer, too. He just dropped back and threw the ball to the other team. That’s literally what happened.

You almost feel bad for Nix here, having to answer questions about his worst moments on the field.

Hopefully, things will get better. If not? At least we’ll get more hilarious press conferences like this one.
