Welcome to Colorado, Bo Nix.

The Denver Broncos rookie quarterback and his wife, Izzy, have bought Shane Vereen’s old home in Castle Rock, according to Sara B. Hansen of BusinessDen.com.

Nix signed a four-year, $18.61 million contract with the Broncos earlier this year that included a $10.35 million signing bonus. He paid $4 million for the 6,551-square-foot home in The Village at Castle Pines.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom house was built in 2018 on a 1.14-acre lot. The home features a four-car garage with a golf cart bay.

Vereern, a former NFL running back, sold the home through Stacie Chadwick (LIV Sotheby’s International Realty) to Nix, who was represented by Rachel Sartin (Corken + Company Real Estate Group).

The Broncos drafted Nix in April after moving on from former quarterback Russell Wilson. Two years ago, Wilson paid $25 million for a mansion in Cherry Hills Village, a record sale in the Denver area. Wilson sold the four-bedroom, 12-bathroom home at a $3.5 million loss this spring.

Broncos fans will hope Nix has no reason to sell anytime soon.
