Auburn quarterback Bo Nix will miss the rest of the season due to a right leg injury.
He suffered the injury against Mississippi State. Nix played through it and ran with a limp in an attempt to finish the game. He eventually was pulled for T.J. Finley.
The news of the quarterback requiring surgery to address the injury broke Sunday. The quarterback went to social media to let fans know how he was feeling.
“Bones break and things change, but God is always the same,” Nix wrote. “One of my favorite verses is John 13:7, “Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand”. The Lord’s timing is our schedule. The road to recovery begins tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers!
Auburn plays South Carolina this Saturday.
