Bleacher Report thinks the Vikings ‘may be in for some regression’

Bleacher Report thinks that with the pieces the Vikings have lost in the offseason, the team may take a step back.

Though the team does have cap space available, the Vikings are off to a bumpy start in free agency.

The team has seen talented players like Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes walk. Waynes commanded a high price, but still, he will be difficult to replace.

And Minnesota reportedly traded Stefon Diggs.

Bleacher Report thinks that may be a bad sign for the team. The outlet said, after free agency week one, that the Vikings may be in for some regression.

Here’s what else they said:

“Not only did they lose offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski, but they also traded Stefon Diggs, which will change the offense. On defense, they’ve lost Trae Waynes, Linval Joseph, Mackensie Alexander and are reportedly going to lose Everson Griffen. Even though they retained Anthony Harris, that’s a lot to lose from one unit.”

I’ll admit, it’s not the best start for Minnesota. It would have been nice to keep Alexander and Everson Griffen announcing he was leaving came as a big blow. However, there’s still time for the Vikings to make some moves.
