Minnesota saw a mass exodus in free agency, which led to the Vikings replacing a lot of the talent through the draft.
Though Minnesota’s 2020 did not go fully as planed, Vikings fans can take solace in the fact that their team’s rookie class showed great promise.
Bleacher Report took notice of that, giving Minnesota an A grade for its most recent draft class. Here’s what the outlet said:
“The sheer number of picks improved the odds of finding meaningful contributors, and it worked. The Vikings appear to have landed one superstar, and several other long-term starters are already unveiling themselves.”
It’s gearing up to be yet another offseason of change and another one where the Vikings will replace veterans with rookies. If the team can hit on a couple of players like it did last time, a turnaround season could be possible.
