Both Martinez and Bulaga took to Instagram to say goodbye to the Packers and the city of Green Bay on Wednesday.

Linebacker Blake Martinez and offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga both took to social media to bid farewell to the Packers and the city of Green Bay on Wednesday.

Martinez, who spent four years with the Packers, agreed to sign a new deal with the New York Giants, while Bulaga, a first-round pick of the Packers in 2010, agreed to sign a new deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Martinez, a fourth-round pick in 2016, took to Instagram to thank the team that brought him into the NFL and the fans that supported him along the way.

From Martinez: “I want to say thank you to Green Bay as a whole the Packers, the fans, and my teammates/coaches for giving me the opportunity to start and live out my dream of playing in the NFL! I wouldn’t be where I am today without your help and kindness throughout these last four years! I was so honored to wear the green and gold and will always have a place in my heart for Green Bay!”

I want to say thank you to Green Bay as a whole the @packers , the fans, and my teammates/coaches for giving me the opportunity to start and live out my dream of playing in the NFL! I wouldn’t be where I am today with out your help and kindness throughout these last four years! I was so honored to wear the green and gold and will always have a place in my heart for Green Bay! I was a 4th round draft pick that didn’t know what to expect but so many leaders/coaches on this team helped me whenever I asked for it and the fans welcomed me with open arms! I put it all out on the line for this team and community and you guys made it easy with your overwhelming support everyday before practice, game, and coming into the facility! I’m truly blessed to have been able to say I played for such an historic franchise and I can’t thank everyone enough for all the help! So excited for the future and I hope to come play at Lambeau again soon!

Martinez played in 61 games with 52 starts for the Packers, producing 512 total tackles, 10 sacks, three interceptions and 29 tackles for losses. He’ll be joining former Packers assistant coach and current Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham in New York.

Bulaga, a stalwart for the Packers for a decade at right tackle, also took to Instagram to say his goodbyes.

From Bulaga: “I wanted to take some time to thank all of my former teammates, coaches, support staff and Packers Nation. The past 10 years of my career will be irreplaceable and that is due to all of you. You all welcomed me as a 21 year old with open arms, and for that I will always be grateful. I have essentially grown up in Green Bay, from getting married, to having kids and a whole lot of life in between. We have been through ups and downs, wins and losses, many memories that I will never forget. From all of the playoff wins, to multiple NFC North Championships and of course our Super Bowl Championship. Green Bay will always hold a special place in our hears and for that I thank you all. I will forever be grateful for the Packers organization and the city of Green Bay.”
