The Cleveland Browns will be down to their fourth-string center today. J.C. Tretter will sit out with the rest of the starters while backup Nick Harris and, assumed, third-stringer Michael Dunn will miss the game with injuries.
Harris, the Browns fifth-round pick in 2020, will miss the game due to a knee injury while Dunn, who started the Browns playoff victory last year, will be out with a back issue.
Blake Hance, famous in Cleveland lore when QB Baker Mayfield said “A guy named Blake,” is fighting for a roster spot on a very good offensive line. Hance will get a chance to show his ability at center today:
The Browns will start Blake Hance at center, Drew Forbes and Colby Gossett at guard.

While the New Giants will also be playing their backups, Hance has a chance to show his versatility and stack a claim to a roster spot with a good game today.
