Blake Corum spotted in a sling on the sideline after suffering injury vs. Seahawks

Rams RB Blake Corum’s forearm injury landed him in a sling after being ruled out against the Seahawks

There was a lot of excitement about Blake Corum heading into Sunday’s season finale, especially after Sean McVay said the rookie was expected to see a heavy workload with Kyren Williams resting. Corum did start the game and had 22 yards from scrimmage on his first three touches but he unfortunately suffered a forearm injury in the second quarter.

The Rams initially announced that he was questionable to return but after the start of the second half, he was ruled out. FOX’s cameras then found him on the sideline and he was spotted in street clothes with his right arm in a sling.

That’s bad news for the Rams heading into the playoffs, leaving them thinner at running back behind Williams. Ronnie Rivers and Cody Schrader are the only other running backs on the 53-man roster.

It’s unclear how serious the injury is for Corum but if it’s season-ending, Rivers will presumably step in as the backup to Williams.
