Tennessee junior third baseman Billy Amick was named Southeastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
Amick hit four home runs last week against High Point and Bowling Green. The Vols have also won ten consecutive games.
Through 12 games in 2024, Amick has recorded a .378 batting average, seven home runs, 18 RBIs, 15 runs, two doubles, one triple and five walks.
Amick transferred to Tennessee from Clemson. He played for the Tigers from 2022-23.
Amick appeared in 46 games for Clemson in 2023. He recorded a .413 batting average, 13 home runs, 69 hits, 17 doubles, two triples, 63 RBIs, 37 runs, 13 walks and two stolen bases last season.
