Bills QB Josh Allen wins AFC Offensive Player of Month for December

Bills quarterback Josh Allen said a few weeks back after his team’s win over the Broncos that he wants only one award, the Lombardi Trophy for winning a Super Bowl, not even the AFC East title.
Evidently along the way that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try and win every honor under the sun along the way to that, because he’s got another one.
The NFL announced their players of the month for December on Thursday and the Bills QB has won his second Offensive Player of the Month Award in 2020. Allen first took that award in September.
On 129-for-184 passing (70.11%), Allen tossed for 1,516 yards with 15 scores and only two interceptions last month.
Of all five Bills games over the course of December, Buffalo was 5-0. Allen added two rushing touchdowns as well.
Allen also became the first player in NFL history with 4,500-plus passing yards, 35-plus passing touchdowns, and five-plus rushing touchdowns in a single season
