Bill Belichick was very blunt during his postgame chat with Sean McVay

“You expletive killed us.”

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick approached Rams coach Sean McVay to swap pleasantries after Los Angeles’ 24-3 win. And Belichick called it like he saw it.

“Great job. You (expletive) killed us today,” Belichick said at midfield in L.A. after the game. “You had a great plan. You’ve got a good team. Good luck. … Good job.”

The Rams did, indeed, dominate the Patriots by just about every measure. Quarterback Jared Goff only had to throw for 137 yards because the running game had 36 carries for 186 yards. The Rams’ defense also managed a pick-six. New England, meanwhile, averaged 3.7 yards per carry and 6.3 yards per pass.

Here’s a look at the moment between Belichick and McVay.

It’s a comically blunt comment from Belichick.
