While commenting on New England Patriots documentaries over the years, former Patriots coach Bill Belichick took a sideswipe at “The Dynasty: New England Patriots” docuseries.
It was a controversial documentary that came under heavy criticism for its portrayal of the legendary coach. Even former Patriots players, including former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore, voiced their issues with the depiction of Belichick in the documentary.
Belichick appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” earlier in the week and spoke about the Patriots’ documentaries. Pat McAfee referenced the “Do Your Job” documentary and then started naming off other documentaries that Belichick quickly shot down.
“There’s only one. The other documentary, as you remember, is the roast. I wouldn’t count that one,” said Belichick.
It’s no secret that “The Dynasty” docuseries ruffled feathers. It also appears there is no love lost with Belichick when it comes to the series.
The future Hall of Fame coach has bigger things to tend to now, as he gets set to rebuild the North Carolina Tar Heels as the team’s new head coach.
