The wait in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is finally over.
After weeks of speculation and talks ramping up in recent days, the UNC football program officially hired Bill Belichick as its next head coach on Wednesday, December 11.
Belichick is arguably the best coach in football history – at any level. He led the New England Patriots‘ dynasty to six Super Bowls, in 24 seasons, as their head coach. Belichick is a 3-time, AP NFL Coach of the Year and his 31 postseason victories are most all-time.
