The Tennessee Titans are AFC South champions for the second consecutive year, a feat they accomplished by beating the Miami Dolphins in Week 17, 34-3.
Tennessee played one of its better all-around games on Sunday. Granted, the passing attack didn’t do much, but it didn’t really need to with the ground game flourishing and the defense dominating.
Even special teams chipped-in, as punter Brett Kern helped the Titans win the field-position battle, which aided the offense in scoring points.
With the AFC South wrapped up, the Titans will now turn their attention to winning the No. 1 seed, which would give them a first-round bye, which in turn would give Derrick Henry more time to recover from his injury.
But before we start looking ahead to a crucial Week 18 contest against the Houston Texans, let’s take another look back at Week 17 and talk about the biggest takeaways from Tennessee’s win over the Dolphins.
