Tigers impose bowl ban
On Wednesday, LSU self imposed a one-year bowl ban related to violations from boosters that also include the loss of eight scholarships.
Whether the Tigers win or lose on Saturday now has no effect on its bowl destination, as the team will be staying home in Baton Rouge during bowl season.
Sitting at 3-5, the Tigers were unlikely to make a bowl game at this point despite the NCAA allowing all teams to be eligible for a bowl game regardless of record.
