Big Ten Network releases 2023 Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Schedules

The Big Ten Network announced their lacrosse line-up for this season.

For L\lacrosse fans, the long wait is over, as the Big Ten Network will begin its coverage this week. The network will broadcast at least 27 games and stream 60 others on B1G+ during the regular season and postseason.

Big Ten women’s lacrosse coverage begins on March 16, featuring a highly anticipated matchup between No. 3 Northwestern and No. 17 Michigan. Non-conference play will include No. 11 Maryland taking on No. 14 Princeton on March 29 at 8 p.m. ET and No. 5 Stony Brook visiting No. 22 Rutgers on April 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

Conference play continues with Ohio State taking on No. 25 Penn State on March 25 and finishes up with Maryland vs. Northwestern on April 22. Additionally, the network will televise the Big Ten women’s lacrosse semifinals and championship game from Columbus from May 4-6.

Big Ten men’s lacrosse coverage kicks off with a doubleheader on March 25, featuring No. 5 Penn State takes on No. 4 Maryland at 5 p.m. ET before No. 10 Johns Hopkins visits No. 20 Michigan at 7 p.m. ET. The network will also feature the Big Ten men’s lacrosse semifinals from Johns Hopkins, May 4-6.

In the latest IWLCA Division I women’s poll the Big Ten is well represented. Five teams in the conference are ranked in the top 25, including No. 3 Northwestern, No. 11 Maryland, No. 17 Michigan, No. 22 Rutgers and No. 25 Penn State.

Maryland who is ranked No.4 leads the way in the latest Inside Lacrosse Division I men’s poll, followed by No. 5 Penn State, No. 6 Rutgers, No. 10 Johns Hopkins, No. 14 Ohio State and No. 20 Michigan.
