Bettors are expecting the Titans to advance past the Bengals in a high-scoring AFC bout

Looking at how bettors are wagering on the Bengals-Titans divisional matchup.

Super Wild Card Weekend is in the books, and it hardly delivered the excitement that it was presumed to. All but one of the home favorites covered the spread, and three of the holiday weekend’s five contests were decided by double-digits.

One of the last weekend’s few exciting games from beginning to end was Bengals going against Raiders, which resulted in the Bengals advancing past the first round for the first time in 31 years. Cincinnati is in Nashville this Saturday for a Divisional Round date with the AFC’s top-seeded Tennessee Titans — the lone matchup of the weekend that isn’t a rematch from the regular season.

The money coming in at Tipico Sportsbook suggests that bettors feel the end is near for the Bengals.

Fifty-one percent of tickets have the Titans covering the spread (-4.5), and 55 percent have them at the moneyline. Perhaps Derrick Henry’s return from injury combined with the Bengals’ passing attack is what’s leading to 88 percent of tickets taking over 47.5 points total.
