Betting Odds: Thursday lines for Florida football vs Vanderbilt Commodores

The betting lines remain steady ahead of Florida’s homecoming game this weekend.

Two days stand between now and Florida football’s homecoming game in Gainesville as Billy Napier and Co. prepare to host the Vanderbilt Commodores inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 7, for its annual alumni event.

The Gators are coming off a humbling loss at the Kentucky Wildcats that brought them down a few pegs — almost quite literally — and quickly raised doubt as to whether or not they could finish better than .500. Normally, one could chalk up an easy win for Florida when the two schools face each other, but last season proved that to be foolhardy.

Not that Vandy is a powerhouse this fall as it enters the matchup with a 2-4 record overall — including a 0-2 mark in the SEC so far. Last year, the ‘Dores had the home-field advantage, but this year, they will have to deal with the raucous crowd in the Swamp.

Below is a look at the betting odds ahead of the Week 6 matchup in Hogtown between the Gators and Commodores. New odds will be published each day as the date draws near, with added info as it becomes available.
