Auburn will go into the Citrus Bowl as underdogs to a good Northwestern team.
Over at BetMGM, the Tigers are currently 3.5-point underdogs to the Wildcats who finished their season 6-2 overall with the losses coming to Michigan State and to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game.
Northwestern has a stout defense that allowed just 338.8 yards per game, good for 23rd in the FBS while ranking fifth in the FBS by giving up 15.5 points per game.
Auburn will look to end the season and go into the Bryan Harsin era on a high note. In the only other meeting between the two programs, Auburn pulled out a 38-35 overtime victory in the 2010 Outback Bowl.
