We have officially reached the halfway point of the regular schedule. As we look forward to the rest of the games this week, I’d like to take some time to recognize a few top week nine performances from Aggies in the NFL.
Myles Garrett didn’t jump off the page with the stat sheet, but his impact was still felt throughout the game. He applied heavy pressure and tacked another sack to his season total, pushing it to 9.5 through eight games with the Browns. Here are his stats from Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals.
- 1 tackle / 1 TFL / 1 sack / 1 forced fumble / 1 QB hit
Mike Evans crossed a major milestone when he reached 11,000 career yards in the game against the Houston Texans. He is the first Buccaneer to achieve this feat in team history, unfortunately, it also came during a razor-thin 39-37 defeat at the hands of the Texans. Here are his stats from the game on Sunday.
- 4 catches / 87 yards / 21.8 avg
Defensive lineman Justin Madubuike continues his hot streak with his sixth straight game with a sack. His 7.5 sacks on the season put him in the top ten in the NFL through nine weeks with the Ravens. Here are his stats from Sunday’s victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
- 4 tackles / 2 TFL / 1 sack / 1 QB hit
Another great week for these former Aggies, and you can check out some of the best photos from week seven.
