Football season is in full swing, and we are almost a quarter of the way through the regular season. As we look forward to the rest of the games this week, I’d like to take some time to recognize a few top week three performances from Aggies in the NFL.
First on the list is the Miami running back and former Texas A&M speedster De’Von Achane. He set the interwebs on fire with his breakout game against the Denver Broncos where he scored multiple times displaying his world-class speed and vision. Here are his stats from the 70-20 win over the Denver Broncos
- 18 carries / 203 yards / 11.3 avg / 2 touchdowns
- 4 catches / 30 yards / 7.5 avg / 2 touchdowns
Next, we have Myles Garrett, the 2017 No.1 overall pick to the Cleveland Browns. Just like Achane, he had social media ablaze over the weekend with his dominate game versus the Tennessee Titans. He was causing so much trouble against the assigned two tight ends to block Garrett. Here are his stats from Sunday’s victory.
- 5 tackles / 3.5 sacks / 1 forced fumble
Last, we have a pair of wideouts that had solid games, but their teams came up empty. Mike Evans and Christian Kirk each scored a touchdown last Sunday and Monday, but it was not enough to help propel their team into the victory column. You can check their stat lines below.

Kirk
- 4 catches / 54 yards / 13.5 avg / 1 touchdown
