Head Texas A&M basketball Coach Buzz Williams will get enjoy the New Year after beating sister school Prairie View A&M and closing out the year on a two-game winning streak.
After an up-and-down start to the year, the Aggies are in a much better position at his time than last year, thanks to Buzz scheduling a tougher non-conference schedule. They will enter SEC play with three Quad 1 wins, so if they handle business when March rolls around, we should expect a better seed than last season.
NOTE: Tyrece Radford was back in the lineup after missing multiple games.
Texas A&M will get a break before SEC play on January 6th, where they will host LSU inside Reed Arena at 7:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on the SEC Network.
