LSU already saw one rookie star make an appearance in an All-Star Game earlier this month as [autotag]Paul Skenes[/autotag] started the MLB All-Star Game for the National League, and on Saturday night, it was Angel Reese’s turn.
The Chicago Sky rookie has taken the WNBA by storm, setting a league record for consecutive double-doubles while earning All-Star honors in her first season.
She came off the bench for Team WNBA in a 117-109 upset win over Team USA, but she certainly made an impact in her 18 minutes. She finished with a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double as she continues to make her case for Rookie of the Year.
