Four of the Clemson’s five starters finished in double figures on Tuesday night as the Tigers downed Georgia Tech, 70-59, at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta for another win in ACC play.

Boston College transfer Jaeden Zackery scored a season-high 21 points, Ian Schieffelin added 16, and Atlanta native Chase Hunter had 14. Cincinnati Bearcats transfer Viktor Lakhin had 10 — all in the first half as the Tigers built a 36-25 lead at intermission.

Clemson (14-4 overall, 6-1 ACC) never trailed in the game and led by as many as 18 in the second half before Georgia Tech briefly trimmed the lead to single digits.

With the win, the Tigers stayed one game behind Duke in the ACC standings. The third-ranked Blue Devils (15-2, 7-0) won in an 84-59 blowout over the Miami Hurricanes Tuesday night. Clemson and Duke are scheduled to meet only once in the regular season, Feb. 8 at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The Tigers head to Pittsburgh to face the Pitt Panthers Saturday at noon ET. The game will be televised on The CW Network.
