Texas A&M got upset on Saturday. It started by beating No. 9 Missouri 41-10, setting the tone in college football for the rest of the day. The new rankings are going to be interesting to see, with several teams in the top 12 dropping games.
A&M entered the weekend as one of about eight teams in the SEC without a conference loss. Among that list were the Tigers, who were facing their toughest opponent to this point in the season. Even though they were undefeated, they looked a bit shaky in some of their wins and came in as a two-point underdog.
That margin is a tossup game, and experts were split on the outcome. However, all that was thrown out of the window as the Aggies repeatedly marched up and down the field on offense while stifling the Tigers’ offense the entire game. It’s a preview of what this team can be if they stay consistent and healthy for the remainder of the year.
