After two days of joint practices with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday and Thursday, the Los Angeles Rams faced their Super Bowl LVI opponent in the preseason finale on Saturday. The Bengals won, 16-7, dropping the Rams’ preseason record to 1-2 – not that it means anything for their regular-season positioning.
Once again, the Rams and Bengals both rested their starters, so we didn’t get to see Matthew Stafford duke it out with Joe Burrow, or Jalen Ramsey cover Ja’Marr Chase on the outside. But Bryce Perkins, Lance McCutcheon and Keir Thomas made things interesting at Paycor Stadium.
