Consistency has been an issue for the Oklahoma Sooners throughout Big 12 play. On the offensive end of the floor, they went cold in the second half of their loss to the Kansas Jayhawks.
It’s a team, that when they’re on, they can play with just about everyone in the Big 12. The trouble against Kansas is that they were missing two key bench pieces in Rivaldo Soares and John Hugley. And they struggled to get their shot to go in.
Losing a game to the No. 6 Jayhawks is by no means a statement about what kind of team the Sooners are. They can play better than they did in the second half. It’s simply a matter of playing at their best for a full 40 minutes.
They have a handful of games remaining to get healthy and get their game right before tournament time.
