Former Texas A&M defensive lineman Myles Garrett joins some of the greats as he dropped Russell Wilson three times on Thursday Night Football in a 24-19 Cleveland Browns win.
The Browns have been on the losing side of many games this season and have virtually zero chance of making the playoffs. In that mist of despair, Myles Garrett has been doing his best on the defensive side of the ball.
On Thursday night, Garrett took over the first half, sacking Wilson three times and holding the Pittsburg Steelers to only three points in the first 30 minutes of play. With under ten seconds left, Garrett got his third sack and 10th in the season.
That sack made him only the 7th player in NFL history with seven straight 10-sack seasons. The list includes Reggie White, John Randle, DeMarcus Ware, Bruce Smith, Lawrence Taylor, and Jared Allen. That’s a who’s who of Hall of Fame defensive ends, and that’s Garrett’s current path. Below are some of the best photos from the Thursday night game.
