It wasn’t easy, but Michigan State picked up a season-opening victory over Western Michigan on Friday night.
The Spartans used a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns to clinch a 35-13 victory over the Broncos at Spartan Stadium. Michigan State jumped to an early double-digit lead but a rough third quarter resulted in the game getting close.
