The Iowa Hawkeyes improved to 4-0 and collected their first true road win under first-year head coach Jan Jensen with Sunday’s 86-73 win over Drake.
Among the key takeaways, senior center Addison O’Grady continued her terrific start to the season and continues to look like one of the most improved players in the Big Ten and nationally.
O’Grady registered a double-double, tallying 27 points on 13-of-21 shooting and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Senior guard Lucy Olsen had another strong game. The 5-foot-10 guard scored 18 points, dished out six assists, grabbed four boards and came up with three steals.
Iowa shot 52.3% from the field and limited Drake to just 28.6% shooting.
Iowa will return to action on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT against Kansas (4-0) from inside Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
