The Iowa Hawkeyes rolled right past Rider on Tuesday night, 83-58.
Senior forward Payton Sandfort led Iowa with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting. The Waukee product also pulled down six rebounds, dished out three assists and had a steal and a block.
Sophomore forward Owen Freeman had another productive night, tallying 19 points, five rebounds and a pair of blocks.
Sophomore forwards Seydou Traore and Pryce Sandfort each finished in double-figures as well, adding 12 and 11 points, respectively. Pryce Sandfort knocked down a trio of 3-pointers as he continues to get more and more confident with his shot at the Division I level.
Graduate guard Drew Thelwell helped set the tone for Iowa with his seven assists and five steals. The Hawkeyes limited Rider to 6% 3-point shooting and forced 20 Broncs turnovers.
All of it added up to another nice win. And a stress-free one at that.
