The Miami Dolphins were defeated by the New York Jets in Week 5 40-17, suffering their second loss in as many weeks and dropping from the top spot in the conference to third in their own division.
A combination of injuries and penalties hampered them on both sides of the ball, as they lost quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and Terron Armstead early in this game. In their places came rookie Skylar Thompson and practice squad tackle Brandon Shell, which isn’t exactly what Miami was hoping for in this battle.
The Jets outplayed the Dolphins in all three phases of the game to move to 3-2 on the season.
At least there were some solid pictures, right?
