Best photos from Auburn’s 80-77 loss to West Virginia

Auburn fought hard but was unable to pull off the road win against the Mountaineers.

The No. 16 Auburn Tigers showed what they are made of against West Virginia Saturday morning, battling back from a 16-point halftime deficit on the road in the 80-77 loss.

The Tigers were able to steadily chip away at the Mountaineer’s lead in the second half and at one point trailed 71-70 with 2:16 to play. They were unable to wrestle the game away from West Virginia and suffered their second-straight loss.

Auburn showcased its depth in the game with four Tigers scoring in double figures.
