The No. 16 Auburn Tigers showed what they are made of against West Virginia Saturday morning, battling back from a 16-point halftime deficit on the road in the 80-77 loss.
The Tigers were able to steadily chip away at the Mountaineer’s lead in the second half and at one point trailed 71-70 with 2:16 to play. They were unable to wrestle the game away from West Virginia and suffered their second-straight loss.
Auburn showcased its depth in the game with four Tigers scoring in double figures. [autotag]Jaylin Williams[/autotag] led the way with 18 points and [autotag]Johni Broome[/autotag] wasn’t far behind with 15 of his own. [autotag]K.D. Johnson[/autotag] added 10 off the bench and [autotag]Allen Flanigan[/autotag] had 13.
