Despite some less-than-ideal weather for a Saturday in September, Penn State fans did their part to pack Beaver Stadium for the annual whiteout game in Week 4 against Iowa. The second-largest crowd in Beaver Stadium history was on hand to watch Penn State paste Iowa, 31-0, in a primetime Big Ten matchup. James Franklin was complimentary of the atmosphere the fans created following the shutout win, and the fans deserved the credit for bringing the energy all day long.
