The NBA’s 2024 California Classic Summer League exhibition series is now over and done with. But that does not mean that fans of the San Antonio Spurs need to stop thinking about how the newest players for their favorite ball club played in it.
And no San Antonio rookie showed out more for the Spurs than former University of Connecticut standout combo guard Stephon Castle. He led the Summer Spurs in scoring in two of the three games San Antonio played in the annual exhibition series, and looked every bit the part of a top draft pick for the Spurs.
The New York native showed out for San Antonio on both ends of the court, disrupting opposing passing lanes, stealing the ball, and attacking the cup.
To see the best of his play for the Spurs in the California Classic for yourself, be sure to check out the clip embedded above that was put together by the team itself for their official YouTube channel.
