During the 2021-22 NBA regular season, the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks split their four games 2-2, with the Celtics’ two wins against the defending NBA champions coming in the first half of the season that saw Boston struggle considerably more than they did in the second half of the season in which the Bucks got both of their wins against the Celtics.
Now, in the 2022 Eastern Conference semifinals series the two are about to begin against each other, the two clubs are close to evenly matched with Milwaukee star forward Khris Middleton out for the series with a grade two MCL sprain to heal up.
With attention among fans and analysts turning to how each team might play the other, a look back at how things went the last four times the two teams played is not the worst place to start, and fan YouTuber Tomasz Kordylewski has put together a 2021-22 season highlight clip of the four times Boston and Milwaukee met on the court.
